REQUIREMENTS:
1. Insurance underwriting experience preferred.
2. Dynamic & high integrity individual who is adaptable and an innovative team player.
3. Enjoy the challenge of employment within a service-based environment.
4. Have the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers who may require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy.
5. Analyze inventory asset value & assess the customer’s current policy and makes recommendations for that customer.
6. Experience using various types of office equipment including calculators and computers.
7. Possess a high school diploma with minimum of one year professional level work 9. Experience in a customer service environment.
8. Demonstrate effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Own a reliable vehicle and carry current Auto Liability Insurance.
10. Undergo and pass a background check and drug testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor and listen to customers to understand policy coverage needs and provide accurate information about their inventoried assets.
• Obtain and assess the customer’s insurance policy(s) and compare the policy(s) with our inventory of their assets and using basic math calculate ACV and Replacement cost.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting, organizing and mailing out or meeting with customers to provide policy assessment recommendations
• Ensure customers policy assessment and recommendations are completed in a timely matter and in accordance to Docutech Assurance’s standards.
• Exhibit ability to memorize and communicate to the customer the scripts from the company in the performance of the Policy assessment service and meeting with that customer.
• Take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly perform each project.
• Accurately complete a policy assessment compared with the inventoried assets in accordance to the company’s standards.
• Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, overtime, logs and entries throughout his/her shift.
• Have direct involvement and handle complications, customer complaints as they arise such as: the initial copy/scan of customer’s policy; the timely completion of work of the policy assessment and the face-to-face appointment to discuss and recommend policy changes when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries, deliver various documents, copy, fax and computer downloading of policy documents and other documents.
• Exhibit excellence in customer service and the ability to serve others.
• Immediate attention given to customers when entering their home or business in accordance with DocuTech’s standard of operation.
• Successfully complete the training on policy assessment.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the industry team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.
